THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING HELD ON 16TH AUGUST, 2023

  • On Wednesday, August 16, 2023, the second quarterly executive committee meeting was held.
  • The following meeting is being discussed:
  • 1. Presenting the subcommittees' report to the general assembly for approval.
  • 2. Presentation and discussion of the annual action plan and the mid-year budget for 2023.
  • 3. An update on the KbMA's 35th anniversary.
  • The Chairman of the Executive Committee and Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Seth Antwi Bosoako, was present.
  • Additionally present was the Municipal Coordinating Director. Additionally present were all department heads.
  • The chairman welcomed everyone and emphasized the discussion agenda while also thanking them for attending. The chairs of each of the six subcommittees gave the reports from their respective groups. The reports were approved by the house for further approval by the General Assembly following a successful presentation and discussion.
  • The house and subsequent discussions in the General Assembly also considered and adopted the 2023 mid-year assessment of the budget and the annual action plan.
  • The 35th Anniversary celebration of the KbMA is also updated to the House by the Chairman. The program was successfully introduced in Accra at Closag Hall, and a second launch is scheduled for Kade.
  • The organizing committee for the anniversary has already been assembled, but additional members have been added to the group. The Media and advertising committee also received a few additional names of people.
