1.

Decision was taken for management to replace all defective streetlights within the municipality to enhance security and visibility at night.

Management has distributed the streetlights to Hon. Assembly Members to replace all defective ones within their electoral areas.

2.

Decision was taken by the house for management to ensure sanity along the roads to prevent loading and unloading of palm oil along the main streets.

The Information Department held a radio-sensitization program to educate the public especially the drivers on the implication of their activities and how it endangers the lives of motorists.

3.

The Assembly was tasked to regulate the activities of tricycle operators (pragia) about their careless behavior of the road.

The Hon. MCE met the leadership of the Pragia Operators and cautioned them to desist from such carelessness.  

4.

Decision was taken for management to embark on education on the need to pay fees, license and Business Operating Permit to the Assembly.

The Information Officer carry out a public education at some selected communities using the information van. The first phase was successfully executed.

5.

The house took a decision for the Assembly to regulate and monitor the activities of Galamsey Operations.

The Municipal Mining Taskforce has commenced the embossment of all excavators within the municipality to monitor their activities.

6.

Decision was taken for management to form a revenue mobilization team to assist in generating revenue for the Assembly.

A team of staff from the Finance Department and Budget Unit have been put in place to assist in revenue generating exercise for the Assembly.

  • The Assembly should replace all defective streetlights within the municipality to enhance visibility and security.


  • The Assembly should ensure sanity along Kade Zongo Road to prevent drivers from loading and unloading of palm oil along the shoulders of the road.


  • The Assembly should regulate the activities of Tricycle Operators (Pragia) to prevent disastrous occurrences.
