1.

Management should allocate additional furniture to all schools in the municipality to facilitate teaching and learning activities.

Management has procured and supplied about 400 mono desks to the Municipal Education Directorate (MDE) for onward distribution to the schools in need of them.

Acquisition of site for new cemetery.

Management has begun engaging stakeholders to properly acquire a piece of land at Subi for the relocation.

3.

Management was tasked to increase the number of revenue collectors and provide them with adequate logistics.

Five new revenue collectors have been recruited to support the existing collectors in order to enhance revenue mobilization.

4.

Decision was taken for management to intensify the monitoring of information centers to compel them to adhere to the Assembly Bye-Laws invariably discouraging noise pollution.

The Information Department has intensified their monitoring activities for most information centers within the municipality. In effect, deviants have their centers locked-up and brought to book.

5.

Decision was taken for management to undertake a possible road diversion to ease traffic during market days.

The Assembly together with the police has undertaken a road diversion from Ajara junction through to the stadium road for motorists in order to ease traffic on market days.

6.

Monitoring of reclaimed land by miners in the municipality.

A mining taskforce has been put in place by management which comprises both Assembly staffs and Assembly members. The mandate of the taskforce is to monitor and ensure that the miners reclaim the land after mining activity.

  • The Assembly should intensify monitoring of Information Centers to compel them to adhere to the bye-laws of the Assembly invariably inhibiting noise pollution.

A parcel of land has been allocated to the Assembly by the chief of Subi for the said purpose.


A road diversion was done at Ajara Junction to the Stadium Road for motorist in order to ease traffic.


The Information Department has intensified their monitoring activities by visiting the various communities randomly to fish out the deviants and bringing them to book.
