FINANCIAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE MEETING ON 19TH MAY, 2023

RECCOMMENDATIONS FROM FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION SUB-COMMITTEE MEETING HELD ON 19^TH MAY, 2023 AT KWAEBIBIREM MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY’S CONFERENCE HALL, KADE

The F & A Sub-Committee at its sitting on 19^th May, 2023 at the Municipal Assembly Hall, made the following recommendations for consideration by the Executive Committee of the Assembly:

• The committee recommended that the Municipal Finance Officer should deploy one revenue collector to concentrate and mobilize revenue from the palm weighing centers before the season lapses.

• Members of the committee urged the new Municipal Finance Officer to engage the community funeral committees to aid in effective and efficient mobilizing of revenue from burial permit fees in their respective communities.

• The committee agreed to finalize the market stores tenancy agreement with the market store owners by close of month of June, 2023 since it been long overdue in its execution.
